Take a flight on the Flying Fortress. Video story.

Submitted
The Liberty Belle Foundation performed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the four-engined, B-17 Flying Fortress restoring it to flying condition. Its crew flies the plane nationwide, offering an up-close experience with the aircraft, one of thousands built during the heightened war effort in the 1940s. The plane will be open for tours Saturday and Sunday at the Lawrence airport. For $430, you can take a 30-minute flight. (www.nashuatelegraph.com) More...
