Seattle - The horizontal stabilizer of the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 on March 10 was in an unusual position at the time of the crash. If it is the same cause, then the Boeing’s mendated additional training of recovery procedure (which the implication deadline is in April) is not sufficient, and or Ethiopian Airlines hadn’t given pilot flying the training to perform a safe flight...
Needless to say a hole definitely exist on Ethiopian’s training programs... but, of course, a bigger hole exists on Boeing’s human-machine-interactive design and automation related computer systems... lets hope they can fill the holes as soon as possible because I want to see that winglet flying again!

This doesn't conform anything other than the position/condition of the stabilizer. No one knows, yet, why. No cause and effec has been determined.

If you read the article, the position of the stabilizer was due to a drive spindle, So it's a strong evidence.

All the testing and people involved in certification of a new aircraft something slipped through the cracks here. Not good when 2 very new aircraft have accidents that are somewhat similar. I feel bad for the victims can’t imagine what they went through during the accident.

To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. It would seem dangerous for a design team to make a significant change to engine position affecting forces in flight unless they advise operators and pilots of altered flight characteristics.

The experts will soon know the answer to why , and if the two accidents have same cause. Until that time why not find out why a software geek decided to take the airplane out of the hands of the pilot(s). From what I read, the ‘corrective’ action should have ceased once the came down. Oh! That’s right, the computer really didn’t know........

Call me old fashioned, but my concern for some time now has been that we'll get to a point where the automated systems think they know more than the pilots know. IF that turns out to be what happened here I hope we learn from it and think more carefully about automation.

A blow out of a cargo door has happen before. American Airlines 96 and United airlines flight 811 of two that really come to mind. Neither one of those planes had a nose down issue that wasn’t controllable.
