A Singapore Airlines flight to Wellington was cancelled yesterday after a pilot failed an alcohol test. Singapore Airlines spokesman Karl Schubert said flight SQ247 from Melbourne to Wellington was cancelled due to an operating crew member being deemed unfit to fly. (www.nzherald.co.nz) More...

I have a friend who lost a teenage daughter to a drunk truck driver, this sort of thing makes my blood boil! Follow the goddamn rules or find a job where you don’t endanger hundreds of lives!

The aircrew person failed a random alcohol test. How frequent are these tests? Who decides if they frequent enough?
