Airbus Corporate Jets has teamed up with Italian hypercar interior designer Atelier Pagani Automobil to unveil the Infinito cabin design for the ACJ319neo at EBACE today.

Taking inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s masterful grasp of art and science, Pagani hybercars are known for sculpted carbonfibre and soft-leather furnishings, and both elements are highlighted in the Infinito design.

“Applying our Renaissance touch into the wider spaces of Airbus corporate jet cabins is the beginning of an exciting new venture for us,” says Horacio Pagani, founder and chief designer of Pagani Automobili SpA.

The Infinito cabin also introduces the a sky ceiling feature that offers a live view inside the cabin of the sky above the aircraft, Airbus says.

The partnership with Pagani brings “a fresh approach to cabin design and satisfies very demanding standards”, says ACJ managing director Benoit Defforge.

Other features include sculpted metal light fixtures and shell-shaped valances.

Airbus has delivered more than 180 ACJs, including narrowbody and widebody aircraft, including the latest A319ACJ handed over in the fourth quarter of 2015.
