The number of aircraft types with two engines is amazing.

However, this aircraft is interesting as the engines are in the front and back of the main body of the aircraft (rather than one on each wing). This system offers significant aerodynamic advantages over the conventional layout.

The most notable aircraft using this configuration would be (quoting from Wikipedia) “The Rutan Model 76 Voyager was the first aircraft to fly around the world without stopping or refueling. It was piloted by Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager. The flight took off from Edwards Air Force Base's 15,000 foot (4,600 m) long runway in the Mojave Desert on December 14, 1986, and ended 9 days, 3 minutes and 44 seconds later on December 23”.

The fastest example of the tandem propeller engine installation would be the Dornier Do335

We use to call em "Mixmasters" after a popular kitchen blender cause after an hour or two in that cabin it would be hard to tell your brain from a puddle of warm tapioca.
