Darryl & Greg ... Hey, howdy guys, and TYVM. And a quick question. Did I e/m both of you to let you guys know that myself and several others are either moving on from FA or (as in my case) only going to post here every once in a while? I forget who I notified and who I haven't notified yet - but I think I haven't told Don or Ken yet and maybe a couple others. If you've heard the scuttlebutt about the future of this gallery you'll know why we aren't wasting time adding more pics to it. Gavin stopped posting here completely, Alien still logs in every so often but I think he no longer posts here, I think Dave has either cut waaaay back or stopped completely, and as you can see I don't post anywhere near as often and when I do I've only been posting mediocre shots here now (as I'm sure you've noticed). I will log on occasionally so I can still give the Five Bravos to anything you and the others post but I only view this gallery once every 3-4 days so please don't think I'm ignoring you if it takes me a week or more to Comment, OK? And I will be e/mailing pics (far better quality than what I have been posting here the last 5 weeks) but rght now there's a heckuva lot going on (Burning Man, a big NFL Kickoff party here to watch the the Bills beat the Rams to start the season, the Balloon Races, the Air Races, another air show after the races, and our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration week) so it will most likely be into October before things settle down and I can start sending. (wave to you both)

with the diminishing accuracy in information and pictures, it's not at all surprising. Once FA was sold, any hope of getting things fixed was lost. Best wish on your 50th anniversay; Jeff

Thnx, Jeff. And you are spot-on correct. FA included the gallery (a feature that the purchaser had little desire of inheriting) because FA was not going to retain it on its own and be stuck with either supporting it or closing it. So the new owner acquired it as part of the "purchased package" but really didn't want it, currently makes zero profit from all of its non-paying contributors - even FA was tiring of it for the same reason - , and as expected, finds it to be an ever-more-irritating unwanted encumberance - as even FA did which is why they (FA) included it in the purchase package. So, for now, the new owner provides the barest minimum of attention to accuracy while a decision on a solution is reached, but the clock is ticking and .... well, let's just say that Mr. Scuttlebutt told someone that our many years of contributions could possibly soon / may PROBABLY soon disappear, and it seems foolish to load more "cargo" on to a jet that is only going to be sent to Mojave, eh? So Gavin has already gone elsewhere, Rich left even before Gavin, and several of us have now found new homes, too. (Wave)

Yes, you did mention it to me, Gary. And I'm right there with you. But I would ask you to email the site you're switching to, if you don't mind. I do want to still be able to see your pics. Thanks!
