Hi Uwe. Great pic. You say "focus near 800", do I assume then correct you are using the Sigma 300-800mm f/5.6 EX DG HSM Lens ? Known as the SigMonster ?
Uwe ZinkePhoto Uploader
Hi Viv!
No, my lens is sigma 50-500.
my cam Eos 7d mark 2.
with a crop factor 1,6.
full focus is 500x1,6!!!
near 800

EOS 7d is not fullframe thats why lensfocus x 1.6!!!
Viv Pike
Thanks for feedback, Uwe. Great !! I have the EOS 6D, so my 150-600 lens is only, well, 600 mm at full stretch !!! (My APS-C is only a EOS 350D, so it's not good enough, in my opinion, at only 8 megapixels !!) Keep up the good work !
Uwe ZinkePhoto Uploader
Yes Viv youare right EOS 6d is fullframe without crop!
lensfocus is original cam focus!!

This may sound like a stupid question, but I'm not a pilot just an airplane enthusiast. Can someone tell me why the Dash-8 tail seems so tall compared to other planes? There are lots of them flying in & out (Horizon Air) of KGEG.

yikes 800mms I have a monster like that!

Another great shot, Uwe! I love the screw effect of the propellers.
