Back then (1952~1989),transatlantic flights made stops at different airports to refuel. I believe this Air Canada 747 refueled at Caracas International Airport (SVMI). This photo was taken by my father in 1987.
Absolutely! Maybe I made an error labeling the 747. I believe you said this aircraft was a Boeing 747-100. It could be. I see the engines on the aircraft are older than what's on the Boeing 747-300, the size of the aircraft is also smaller than the Boeing 747-300. Shall I change the label sir?
Thanks for the observation. Quite right, do you suggest I change this label to B741 due to its body size, no wingtip of any kind, and other physical features of the aircraft?
