Nice replica of a Fokker Albatross from WWI.
Cole Palen's reproduction D.Va at Old Rhinbeck Aerodorme. Painted in new colors during it's 2013 restoration, so it no longer looks like this.

A very accurate Albatros DVa reproduction. It looks really imp[ressive.
Must be a bit of dementia that when I read Albatross it morphs into a voice from a Monty Python's Flying Circus skit. They did have a wide range of military motifs they made fun of/with. If they can rerun Hazel someone should be able to fund that for the advertising revenue it would bring. (Whiney old fart on soapbox gets off runs away)
Great capture! Old Rhinebeck is a not-to-be-missed experience if you're anywhere in the area - May to October.
