Great Aircraft which is really missed at airshows. Sad to have seen her crash several years ago in Aurora, Ill.

To Conrad Boginski: The airplane didn't crash in the strict sense of the word. It caught fire in flight and the flight crew managed to make a fully controlled landing in a corn field where it was consumed by flames before the fire trucks could there. All that was left was the wings (or parts thereof) and engines. Presumably the engines can be used on other airplanes requiring Wright R-1820's. I think the ailerons were usable too. There are still B-17's that may need those parts in the future.
