A Schneider S.G.38 Glider rests in the hangar at Old Warden Aerodrome and forms part of the Shuttleworth Collection. After the Armistice had been signed in 1918, German was not allowed to have an Air Force. However Gliding was permitted, which allowed Pilots to continue to train, which probably explains alot, Germany's passion for gliding today.
