Two of the NAWDC Rotary Wing Weapons School's MH-60S Seahawks (aka: Knighthawks), 167865 (#74) and 167822 (#73), lift away from NAS Fallon's taxiway Echo with the snowy Stillwater Range mountains in the distance.
"73" still displays the "NSAWC" (Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center) acronym title; however, "NSAWC" was redesignated as "NAWDC" (Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center) last year (2015). I also observed that some of NAWDC's assigned fixed wing aircraft on the ramp still show NSAWC titling while others now display the NAWDC acronym.

Hi, Mark, and TYVM. In a pic from this same series that was snapped just a few seconds earlier than this shot, I caught both of these Knighthawks lifting off while an F/A-18 passes by behind them on the climb from runway 31L. I'll forward that one to you via e/m.

Nice catch, Gary!

Greg and Cliff ... TYVM, guys. I almost posted this one last week but then I waited with this and posted two others so that this shot would be my 600th post. Thanx for the complis.
Also, a short while ago I emailed another click of these Seahawks to each of you. It shows them both lifted off with a NAWDC F/A-18 passing thru the scene behind them. Keep an eye open on your e/m box for that pic, k?
