The daytime temps are still hitting triple digits (today's 100+ degree temp will set a new record for the most 100+ degree days ever "enjoyed" in one year here), and the wildfire smoke is still hanging over the area, but Reno's annual week of super classic cars and oldies music has kicked off, so it is time to spend a few days away from the airport and join the "Hot August Nights" festivities. For the next several days, car clicks take precedence over plane pics. But the Air Races are only a month away, so planes will again become Top Priority very soon.

Greg, Ken, and Mike -- Thanx to each of you for the complis. Ken - Not very long ago (maybe 13-14 days), I found a pic on another site of a Martin Mars doing a water drop. According to the "photographer," he had taken it at the scene of a then-burning CA wildfire. But the photo looked very familiar. Took me less than five minutes to find it in your FA folder. It was a pic of C-FLYL that you submitted only a few weeks ago. The lower right corner had been cropped out to remove the FA w/m and then reposted with a new photog taking credit. Exact same pic. I reported it and two others (there were probably more) - that turned out to be enough to get his membership terminated. And Mike - In the past, I've found some of yours (from FA) on other sites, too. In a way, it is a compliment if someone else is willing to swipe your photo(s) and take credit for them when he/she reposts them, so I thought you'd like to know there are plenty of viewers who enjoy the pics you guys post.
