N47CU
Now down in Bolivia after enjoying a ride in an Antonov AN-124 Ruslan, Coulson - Unical's CH47D Chinook (N47CU) is shown here as it passes Carson City, Nevada, (KCXP) on its way to Fresno and then to San Bernardino, California, to be loaded on to the Antonov.
When it arrived in Bolivia three days ago, N47CU joined with two Coulson Sikorsky S-61 helicopters that had arrived several days earlier, and all three were immediately employed by the Bolivian Ministry of Defense to fight the wildfires raging in Central America.

I was fortunate to be able to capture this Chinook three times; once as it was arriving from Rogue Valley (KMFR) and landing at RNO, then for some closeups a short time later while it was on the ground at Atlantic, and then in this instance as it resumed its trip toward Fresno and then San Bernardino (KSBD) to "catch a ride on the Ruslan."
