I know it must be the angle and illusion, but does the partially obscured right engine look much larger in diameter than the exposed left engine?

Larry..the apparent difference in engine size is a visual aberration, and should be the opposite of this. I therefore suspect the photo is reversed?

Visual aberration. Take a piece of paper and cover the lower half of the picture at the point where the L engine meets the fuselage and you will see they are the same size. Hope this helps.
That probably belongs to that 1 % you hear about.
