De Havilland Canada Twin Otter (C-FWAH)

Twin Otter CFWAH landing in the Burntwood River, Thompson Manitoba. Owned by the Manitoba Air Services and piloted by James Stewart, this aircraft had been previously owned by Max Ward, founder of Wardair International Ltd., a Canadian airline in the 80's. Damaged in a landing in Great Slave Lake in June, 2000, the Manitoba Government bought the airframe in 2002 and refurbished it. The original Wardair colors have been retained.
