Funny N number for a 727.
I always loved this livery..
I'm confused - it looks like this is a recent photograph, and the activity log is full of recent movement - but didn't AA retire their 727-200 fleet in 2002?
N707AA is now registered to an RV-8 in Marion County, FL and that is why you see recnt flight activity for this N-number.
Brings back memories of watching American Airlines first 727-100 land at FTW in 1966. Tail number was Ni956. It was used as a trainer. I had just installed the 727 simulator we had brought down from the link factory. It was AA's first digital simulator and led to me working for American for 29 years at their flight academy.
Beautiful 727...
My first airline flight as a kid was in one of these (Eastern airlines though). I have loved them ever since.
Beautiful. But is this post only a recent submission of an old picture? Either war ok.
