Sam, I never see many of the Lark Commanders and that's a very fine example of the type. Thanks for sharing this photo with us!
I've been around ga aircraft for years and this only one I know of personally
Sam, the first one I recall seeing was years ago on the ramp at KGLH, the former Greenville Air Force Base, circa 1969 - 1970. Any instances since then have been very sparse.
This one is owned by the air museum that puts on the geneseo airshow at D52 in geneseo ny... They are restoring a A-20, C-119, and a super rare B-23 Dragon!
Sam, thanks for that information and I hope the air museum efforts are successful, especially with that B-23 Dragon!
they bought it from the Commemorative Air Force down south...guess it was on trade-a-pane for $50,000...based on the DC-3
