I thought I had seen this photo before.
On looking at your portfolio the photo is similar to one posted 17 days ago. This photo shows Connie heading a little to your right while the in the other photo its heading is very slightly to your left.
You seem to be very interested in this aircraft. Were you involved in its restoration?
A few years ago the aircraft was regularly visible at the QANTAS service area between the Domestic and International terminals at Sydney airport.

I was not involved in the restoration but I am a great avaition buff. Also I am in the industry. I have seen this great aircraft on many occasions and it has got to be one of the greatest aircraft. I also wanted to get a closer shot.

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for your reply. I have been looking at your other photos – very impressive.
The Avro Vulcan seems to be another favourite. I saw XH498 perform its slightly early touch down at the opening of Wellington Airport in 1959.

Yes the Avro Vulcan is also my favourite and it looks like the next two years will be her last flying years? if you get a chance to see her fly it will be worth it. go onto her web site, Vulcan to the sky.
