I used to fly on NC a lot whedn i was in college. Makes me sad to see this "cooking" in a field. Where is VCV?

What an amazing photo. If it is possible, to whom ever took this photo should send the history of this aircraft to @PlaneSavers on Twitter. Mickey from Buffalo Airways in Yellowknife NWT., he is rebuilding a DC-3 that is in Montreal, and hopes to it flying by June 6th 2019 for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. He has a daily video on Youtube, about different people from around the world that restoring DC-3's for the anniversary. It is wonderful to know that there are so many preserving our aviation history.

This aircraft was purchased by the Aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin, Sheboygan, WI in 2016, I was flown to the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport on 10/4/19 where it will be restored and painted in North Central Airlines colors. This aircraft flew with North Central from 1954 thru 1968,
