Per Cirium: This 1971 Cessna 207 ditched in shallow waters of the Atlantic Ocean on Dec. 29,2021. The pilot reported that he was having 'trouble with the propeller' and was returning shortly after take-off from Marathon, Florida Keys, Florida. The aircraft apparently turned back towards the airport but the situation worsened and the pilot was forced to ditch. The pilot and 2 passengers were rescued by a nearby boat. The accident happened in daylight (1621L) and in VMC. The aircraft was operating a flight to Naples, Florida. There were no serious injuries. The aircraft was recovered by a salvage company.
