In 1966 I was assigned to the 620th. TCS (Monkey Mountain) Son Tra Vietnam. During this 'bubble check' the right hand F-102 clipped the top two feet off one of the radar sites whip antennas. The CO wasn't very happy. It was a sight and sound that has lasted a lifetime.
