cee boyd...Pratt and Whitney R-4360 was used in the B-50, B-36, C-119, Spruce Goose, C-97/377 and the F2G Corsair

You guys have to look very closely at this engine and count the number of cylinders, hint, there are 7 in the first row up front.
The P&W 4360 had 7 per row and 4 banks.
Peter Goldfinch
I had seen website showing a Vedeneyev 56 cylinder radial but have not been able to find that website again.

However I have now found photos of this engine - claimed to have taken at the Reno air races on 14 Sep 2013 - there is a hand written label attached to the red framed trolley with the wording "Pratt and Whitney 5600XBSAP 7000HP". Unlikely to be a P&W and probably never run.

ive seen something similar to this online...2 R4360s put together for display purposes only...like Jim Gevay said 4 rows of 7 cylinders...this has 8 rows

same?

Ok you guys, the man who put this thing together was just having fun standing in the crowd listening to all the “EXPERTS “ talk about how they used to work on these things. NOT! There’s no crank shaft big enough for this abomination. Just keep stacking cylinder’s and you have a really fun sculpture.
