? What is this?

Written on 07/23/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Yo missed it - again!

Written on 07/23/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Thank you. I've been photographing the Tbirds for years and always like it when I get one that stands out.

Written on 03/10/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I can only repeat my question: what does this photo contribute to the plane spotting?

Written on 07/23/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Is this a yoke?

Proud Bonnie owner...

DC-3? Where?

Written on 03/05/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Front row seat. Nice.

Lucky dog! A chance to fly in a B-25 AND fly alongside a P-40.

This user is known for this. He stole 25 of one photographer's images and more of other photographers. Most have been removed by staff.

I'm guessing a firework was taped onto the prop

Written on 05/22/2014 by Jeff Lawson

This F-15 seems to be rolling downlhill.

Written on 03/30/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I actually did recognize it as a P-51 but it still should have been identified when posted as well as just a little detail behind the photo. I agree with a no or low vote with the lack of any commentary.

And this plane is a what? It was taken where? Taken when? Airshow, flight test?

Written on 05/12/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

N75342 is a T-6 Texan. This looks more like a TBM Avenger.

Written on 02/21/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Good use of BW. I like it.

Written on 02/21/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks. It was interesting taking a photo from that spot.

Written on 02/24/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Very nice. This looks so peaceful and serene, a good place to take a walk and relax.

Written on 02/24/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Windows in the nose section . . . ?

Written on 03/18/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Darn good images. You did a great job with an ideal background and good time of day for ideal light. Impressive work.

Written on 03/16/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I agree. There's a whole lot of junk and mediocre images uploaded to this site. Some people seem to do wholesale 'dumping' of photos regardless of quality. They get a high number of posts because they just upload whatever they take, good or bad, mostly bad.

This 747 is going to have a hard time landing; it's landing uphill.

Written on 03/16/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I'm not sure why this one was given a water salute, but a plane will often be given the salute when the pilot is on his last flight before retiring. This one could have been for that reason or maybe because the aircraft was being retired.

Written on 04/03/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Very realistic looking! I thought they were real at first glance.

Written on 05/22/2014 by Jeff Lawson

May be you want to consider holding the camera straight next time. Otherwise, there is photo processing software available in the market.

Written on 08/21/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Your photos are bad. Nothing has changed.

Pilatus P2 in Japanese markings. Interesting

Great shot. I really like the composition.

Written on 02/21/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Who wants to see this????

Written on 07/12/2018 by Guido Warnecke

Ron Harper - GPS the address I've pasted below. It will get you within 100 feet of the location. It's a street that dead ends against the airport's fence. Plane-spotters are strongly advised to call KIAH Airport Operations to "check in" with them. Tell them you're at "Rankin Road" and they'll ask you a few questions.

2501 Rankin Road
Houston, TX 77032

Great shot. Good use of lines and composition.

Written on 02/21/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks. I've photographed this aircraft a lot.

Written on 02/23/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks.

The actual ribbon is nothing more than a thin plastic ribbon, easily torn. I've seen a piece of it catch on his prop spinner before and it just hangs and flaps in the wind.

Written on 02/25/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This is the actual plane A6-EEK that landed as UAE 434 in the Brisbane http://flightaware.com/photos/view/794880-9accb19b76efac85d183e91622afd433b7262b90/all/sort/date/page/1

Very good photo.

Written on 03/02/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Looks a lot like a DC-3 to me.

Written on 03/18/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Really another bad photo with no contribution to the flightaware tracking website.

Written on 03/09/2014 by Guido Warnecke

I hope Juan gets the message.

Written on 03/10/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Nice!

The CAP does a great work to bring the youth closer to aviation!

Written on 03/22/2014 by Guido Warnecke

Wow! I've never seen a rainbow effect in all the years I've been shooting. Good shot.

Written on 02/23/2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Amen the that and thanks!

Written on 03/22/2014 by Jimmy Robinson
