CFM is one of the best FBO's I've ever been to. When flying from YTZ to BTR on July 4th in a Mooney M20, we opted to divert to MQY due to wide spread convective activity over AL, MS and LA. Despite the 43 C temperature, Trey met us out on the ramp to help unload and offered the pilot's lounge to wait out the weather. When it became apparent the storms were not dissipating, Stephanie helped with restaurant and hotel recommendations and drove us to get dinner and to the hotel. The Mooney spent the night in the hangar free of charge without us ever asking for it. I'll definitely be back at MQY thanks to the service at CFM.
I've based my Mooney M20 at Louisiana Aircraft since March 2011. I was originally based at a competing FBO, but my first experience with Louisiana Aircraft made my change FBOs. I was flying from Dallas to Baton Rouge and was arriving after the other FBO was closed, so family members who were meeting me were waiting at Louisiana Aircraft. The lineman there (Jason) kept my family updated on my flight's progress and offered snacks and coffee then drove them over to my aircraft once I landed (at the competing FBO) despite the fact I didn't give them any business that night.
I used Ambassador for many trips to Dallas. Their fuel prices are very reasonable and the plane was always hangared and pulled out ready to go before I showed up to depart. They have great facilities and really helpful employees. I'd definitely recommend this FBO to anyone visiting the Dallas area.
Came into AGC for a weekend visit, arriving on 09/29 in a Mooney M-20 and was very impressed with the service, especially on departure, the morning of 10/01. Despite leaving around 3AM in the morning, Wayne went out of his way to help us with bags, removing the cover from the plane and getting it ready for departure. He also double checked the bill was correct and we received the AirNav posted fuel price. I'm used to getting little help with late night/early morning departures, but Wayne was a huge help. We'll definitely be back at Corporate Air next time we're in Pittsburgh.
I can't say enough good things about Wilson Air Hobby. I've been a base tenant since September, 2012 and have always gotten the same service flying a Mooney as I'd expect flying a Gulfstream. The customer service team especially Mary, Rebecca and Roberta are a pleasure to deal with and Marty's line service team goes above and beyond to help with anything I need. On my first trip in to Hobby there was a miscommunication about my departure, but Jonathan responded right away and exceeded my expectations in resolving the situation.
Made two stops at Million Air Tallahassee last weekend in a Mooney and received excellent service both times. The ramp fee was waived with over 20 gallons purchased from self serve and the facilities were great with free cookies, coffee and soft drinks. The only negative is the ramp near the self serve fuel pump is cracked and in poor condition.
Had a good experience at Sun Aviation. The rental car was pulled up next to the plane before engine shutdown and overnight parking for 2 nights for a Mooney was waived with 20 gallons purchased from self serve. The facilities were great. The only negative was line service did not offer to help tie down and airplane or check if the tie down ropes were adequate (one was too short).
Had a great experience at Banyan Air. The facilities were excellent and both line service and customer service was top notch. The ramp fee for a Mooney was waived with 20 gallons purchased. The passengers (especially the dog who was given a treat) really enjoyed Banyan.
I've used American Aviation on multiple occasions in a Mooney and always been treated well despite them being the only FBO at BKV. They've arranged cars from Enterprise with no issues and offer a fuel discount on the weekends. The only downside is that they close at 6PM and whenever I've flown in there's never been anyone on the ramp to meet me and show me where to park.
Flew in the weekend of March 17th in a Mooney. They have a nice facility with inexpensive fuel, however their crew car (in addition to the check engine light being on and pulling hard to one side), had expired tags and insurance causing us to get pulled over. Thankfully the cops let us go with a warning, but this shouldn't have happened.
Flew in on May 25th in a Mooney and received the usual outstanding service I've gotten at Wilson Air at HOU. They have a great facility and got us a crew rate at the Hilton and provided transportant there and back. Fuel was also priced quite reasonably for a Bravo airport with no other FBOs. I'll definitely be back.
I've used Flightways Columbus on multiple occasions in a Mooney and always been treated well. They have a nice crew car and provided recommendations for nearby restaurants. Full serve 100LL is sold at the self serve price on weekends.
While the fuel prices and customer service are both very good, I can't recommend Kissimmee Jet due to a rather bizarre policy regarding crew cars. After staying for a week and buying almost 40 gal of fuel, I was dropped off at 7:40PM after a 9 hour flight from Europe, but was not allowed to use the crew car because it was after 7PM (yet they are open till 9:30PM). The CSR was very apologetic, but couldn't provide a reason for this policy or make an exception.
Dyenamic just opened at BKV and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Arrived 09/10 in a Mooney M-20 at 9:30pm. Met by two line men who had the rental car from Hertz pulled up and running with a cold bottle of water in it. Departure was equally great, plane was pulled up in front and they were happy to help despite the rain. This is one of the best FBO's I've been to in Florida and they also have the only 24 hour self serve 100LL on the field.
