Can't say enough about Hangar 10. Beautiful facilites, fantastic staff. One issue is they aren't permitted to sell 100LL -- have to use self serve. Was in and out of KC on business with very little time on the ground...trying to beat a big storm system. H10 arranged for another FBO's 100LL truck to come over and top off. Whole thing was seemless for me. Flying from there to Manassas in the Corvalis...so they had a hot subway meatball sub waiting for me to eat en route home. Packed it all away so it was nice an hot an hour later when I started getting hungry. GREAT support...great FBO. Hightly recommended.
Great service. Marty and Dawn were fantastic. Rental car was ready when I was and provided a planeside recovery of bags. Wanted an alternative to the $50 ramp fee and congestion of CLT and this was it. Overnight fees were waived with fuel. Much cheaper than CLT and home base. Topped off here and tankered home prices so good! Highly recommend. Picking up clearances tough. Found a single spot on the apron where I had good comms with clearance. Sweet spot is northside of and close to the terminal building. Don't try picking up at departure end of 05. No joy there. My cell batt was dead or I would have called. All in all..great experience!
I've flown into MVY a few times and each time enjoy excellent service. The folks there always remember me (which is amazing because I've only been there 4 or 5 times) and they're very helpful. Fantastic restaurant on site, but crew car into town is available too. Great spot to fly to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lobster roll is piled high, too!
So service and facilites are excellent. Flying GA into MIA is really not bad at all. There's of course the expected 'best speed' on final instruction you'd expect, but with 9000' of runway, no problem at all to bleed off that energy. Love Landmark, too. Great shower there. Coffee bar. All great. Fuel price is horrible, but to be expected. Where they lost points for me, though, was on TKS fluid.... $136 a container (2.5 gallons)!!!!!!! That is indefensible. They only lost one star, though, because the staffer who delivered the bad news was shocked, too. So, GREAT service, but you'll pay for it. Would be worse to pay for it and not get it though. That certainly doesn't happen at Landmark. Really good job.
Diverted to Hobby after giving up on my primary destination which was covered up by a convective sigmet and a number of severe cells. With no notice at all, I arrived at MillionAir at 9pm local --- in not the best of moods. The only reason I picked them is because they were on the west side of the field and I thought that would give me the easiest path into town and be the easiest to find coming back (I was right about that...takes exactly 3 turns from MillionAir to downtown) I walked in and Cheyenne and Courtney immediately went to work trying to find a hotel for me downtown. Not an easy task as the first five they called were booked solid. They got me a room at the Inn at the Ball Park and even got me upgraded to a suite. Great hotel by the way. They had a rental car for me and I was on my way in less than thirty minutes. Other FBO's at Hobby may win awards, but Cheyenne and Courtney won my highest praise. The facility was top notch. My plane was fueled and ready to go when they said it would be the next day. When storms shut down Hobby for two hours, I was happy to taxi back and enjoy the hospitality. I'll be back.
WOW! A thoroughly unexpected pleasure. Stopped for fuel on 7/9/12 before heading home to Virginia and was impressed by the facility and the customer service. Monica and the line team at Skyport had me in and out in record time. Had more than a few hours in front of me navigating sigmets or I would have stayed longer. Redbird has a showroom attached to the FBO with all of their sims "ready to fly". The flightline was full of Redbird flagged training aircraft. There’s even a café there where you can pack a lunch for the flight home or eat right there. Best of all, they like air conditioning---a lot. I walked in from the Texas heat to be met by a welcome 68 degrees of coolness. I will definitely be back! Thanks Skyport…
Extremely professional and courteous. Single digit evening froze my airplane overnight. Early morning line guy pulled her into the well heated hangar and warmed her right up. Nice and toasty once I arrived. Quick start after one or two revolutions. Thank you! I will be back! (In warmer months hopefully)
Becoming a big fan of Atlantic AUS. Customer service is excellent. Had an early morning 5am the other day and the team at Atlantic had fresh coffee ready for me and got me on my way quickly. Fuel order was perfect and aircraft was right outside the door waiting for me.
Flew in at 1:30am. As I taxied up, line guy marshelled me in and as I let the turbos cool off, he ran to get my rental car. By the time I shut down, my rental car was parked next to my baggage compartment. I was on my way within 5 minutes. Plane needed to go over to Gulf Coast Aircraft Services by 7am. By the time I called them at 7:15am, the A&P's had the airplane and had already started working on her. Great service from Signature and from Gulf Coast Aircraft Services.
