I wonder what the head shake was for right after touch down. Looked to me like he wasn't happy with his own performance. If it was me, I would just be happy with crashing on the deck!
He landed just slightly aft of the center point of the landing box.
Truth be told the pilot probably was Brian Williams shaking his head saying "Man I'm awesome" 8-)

Well, if it was *actually* Brian Williams he wouldn't be having the kind of trouble he's having now.
I flew an F16 simulator off a carrier once at a trade show, with a Navy pilot right next to me, problem was, he forgot to tell me to turn off the afterburners and I ran out of fuel, crashed and burned LOL
