Delta jet with cracked cockpit window makes emergency landing

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — A Delta Air Lines flight was diverted to Memphis International Airport for an emergency landing on Wednesday after a crack in one of the aircraft's windows was discovered, officials said. In a statement Wednesday afternoon, Delta said Flight 557 was traveling from Detroit to Mexico City when crew members reported a small crack in one of the aircraft's cockpit windows.
