Last flight for pilot of the worlds shortest flight
Stuart Linklater, a Loganair pilot, will take to the skies flying the Westray - Papa Westray flight for the last time. This flight has a scheduled duration of only 2 minutes and is only 1.7 miles (2.7 KM) long. (www.bbc.co.uk) More...Well done Stuart; providing a vital link. I flew (as a passenger) in an 8 seater Britten-Norman Islander from Queenstown to Milford Sound in South Island New Zealand earlier this year. On the return journey I was up front and what a ride; brilliant. Enjoy your retirement Stuart. God bless.
The plane was a Britten-Norman Islander.
