I'm sure I've mentioned this before in other posts that my late father built the throttling controls for the Space Shuttles 3 main engines at Honeywell in Minneapolis back in the 1970's. Seeing the shuttle retired with no other manned program in sight (NASA wise) I am looking very forward to a successful launch of the Falcon 9 tomorrow morning.
This truly is the next generation of space travel, privately owned, non government industries building space vehicles.

Blasted off A-OK this morning. Now, we will need to see how the docking with ISS takes place. Hopefully fully successfully.
