Should be private not military they are out to shut down the private ones.

The number one priority should be to protect structures and wildland, not who cashes in on the contract.

They have pretty much shut down the private ones and are not letting new ones in. They need the private ones bad the military should do there job and then if needed help out now its getting the other way around is what I was speaking to. Read about it as they started some years back due to bad repair and inspections on private aircraft. All it would take is better oversite of the private ones.
