A rehash of an Airbus puff piece. The other successful airframer is about 300 firm orders ahead of the 'bus. The 777 had a no loss of life (but Air India managed a total hull loss) safety record until the Koreans "dipped a toe" in San Francisco Bay and Malaysian "lost" one, and flew another over hostile territory. The A330 has had 19 major aviation occurrences including loss of life during a test flight for certification! A330 has lost 8 hulls, compared to five for the 777. The 777 has about 100 more planes in service. If I have a choice on a particular route, I'll fly the 777.

A poorly crafted first sentence lifted without correction or apparent interest in content. Is one allowed to ask what aircraft are in the 'unsuccessful widebody jetliner'? Post seems more a plug for avaiationanalysis than anything else, as usual.
