Planes on Trains in downtown Denver

Aircraft fuselages traveling by rail thru downtown Denver. Anyone have more info? Guesses welcome as well ;-) (www.denverpost.com) More...

Boeing ships them by rail from Wichita, KS to Renton, WA to be finished

Actually, there is no story other than a railroad reroute for whatever reason. Hulls have shipped that way forever.

Boeing build the 737 fuselage at their wichita, Kansas plant. Then transport them by rail to their production facility in Renton.

737's - Making 38 per month! On track to making 42 per month by next year! Too bad they can't the 787 that fast. They got to catch up with all the delays they've had.

These also end up parked at the rail yard in Lincoln NE very regulary. It is certainly a sight to see.
