Its sooooo nice that they told us how to say Cirrus, a lesson from the news paper on how to speak. LOL Just another high wing versis a low wing. Its easy to do and isnt the first time either. Glad all was ok and kept there wits about them to fly it untill it stops.
Reporter, "... and the plane landed on the right front wheel..." Good LORD. We need a full investigation into the stupidity of reporting aviation incidents.
@JW Wilson: would you please post a link to the story where you found this as it is not in the posted story or in the link sent below by biz jets. Just curious
I wonder how many folks you sent to the book to find out what CAVU meant.lol It ain't hardly used anymore. Only an older pilot or military man would probably know what you are talking about.lol
Well, both pilots did a good job of getting down. From the link above that bizjets posted, it looks like the Cirrus went in first and the Cessna in behind him. I'd have to say that that he had a huge wakeup call and probably needed clean pants. The instructor did real good holding up that right side on the Cessna. I hope that student took notice and paid attention cause that was a classic example of "It can happen to me".
He's just a pup.lol. Pretty sharp for a pup though. Bad cold and partly cloudy yesterday. CAVU here all day, got up in the 50's, supposed to hit 60 tomorrow. Personall, I hope the ground hog was right this morning.lol
Which right front wheel? The inboard, or outboard, right front wheel? I think the anti-skid was on too, and the tire was 2 psi low... Just kidding Preacher.
Ooops. Couldn't the paper at lease used stock photos of the aircraft involved, rather than pulling something of of Google Images, or where ever they found that photo?
