A 24 year-old man was arrested for jumping out of an AirAsia flight as it was taxiing for takeoff last Friday. Poor guy saw what was on the galley trays for the in-flight meal and thought he had nothing to lose. I guess it will not add much to his flight miles program.... but seriously they have to find a safer way to audition for "jackass III - Flying with only one of the 3 stooges". Finally the most painful part of this thing will be how many times it will be repeated on Letterman/Leno and every 2:00 a.m. comedy club amature nights.
this is what the Ryanair passengers could have gotten away with once they saw their aircraft strike the american jet and nobody in the crew wanted to believe them.
OK which was it ? Taxi or takeoff roll ? I find it hard to belive that if the A/C was rolling and " was about to take off" and this goof popped the hatch and the slide deployed, he would have most likely experienced some serious runway rash.
