No Mr. Red Butler, "I know you don't give a dam: :) there was a camera on the field that took a video off most of it. If you would have read the whole article you would have known why I said it appeared to have stalled. Could have been mechanical we'll just have to wait and see. N953SP registration say's it's a 172. Come on can't either one of you read or do you just look at pictures. :)
Guess the poster of this was out there watching it all and figured it out what a guy now they can finish the accident report witout even going there due to his knowing what happened.
Mr Preacher1, your right I apologize, your right on 1, 2, 3, & 4. It's my opinion of what happened and I do have a little more insight to what happened because I'm based there and talked to the people who found the wreckage. There is another article that was published that said they had a video of the C172 taking off and watched it stay low until it reached the end of the runway then pitch up, the camera lost contact with it for a while but showed it coming straight down a few seconds later. I knew the pilot and one of the other guys that were in it. Sad day.
Your apology is well and sincerely accepted and I am glad that you took my comment in the vein intended as it was in no way meant to be mailicious. That being said, I mourn your loss with you as it is sad whever anything like this happens. I do appreciate the link to the other story as it did have a little more info in it, as later stories sometimes do. I would be interested in seeing that video if it's ever posted though. I am curious as to how much visual could be picked up at 1 or 2 am.
Since you drug me into this, I feel compelled to make a comment or 2, maybe more, BUT#1, all I said is that it didn't look like a 172.#2.It's not "RED" Butler, it is "RHETT".#3 I did read your article, twice as a matter of fact, and nowhere in that article, as far as what is posted, does it mention mechanical or stall. That is your opinion and you are entitled to it, as the rest of us are entitled to ours. In this case, you are probably correct,#4 BUT, while you have the right to voice your opinion, that right does not extend to cutting the rest of us down just because we are not as enlightened as you seem to be.
