Incident: Okay B733 at Guangzhou on Apr 27th 2016, runway excursion during takeoff

An Okay Airways Boeing 737-300, registration B-2117 performing a cargo flight BK-3024 from Guangzhou to Xian (China), was accelerating the engines for takeoff from Guangzhou's runway 19 at about 04:09L (20:09Z Apr 26th) when the aircraft, at low speed, veered left off the runway and came to a stop on taxiway F2, within the runway protected area, about 200m/660 feet down the runway, with the right main gear and nose gear on soft ground. Delta Firms Order for 75 Bombardier CS100 With 50 More Options

Today Delta and Bombardier announced an order for 75 CS100 aircraft with 50 options. They can also use some of their options for CS300 aircraft. Lufthansa CEO eyes airline mergers in Europe

German airline Lufthansa (LHAG.DE) wants to take part in much-needed industry consolidation in Europe so carriers can compete better with U.S. and Asian rivals, Chief Executive Carsten Spohr said on Thursday. Spohr told an annual shareholders meeting in Hamburg on Thursday that the five largest airlines in the United States have an 80 percent share of the market, while in Europe the top five have just 40 percent.
