Yavapai Lodge is Grand Canyon National Park Lodges' hugest facility that is nestled within the pinyin and juniper woodlands, about 1/4-mile from the rim and AIR CONDITIONED rooms. (This is the only lodging facility besides the El Tovar with central air conditioning in the EAST rooms only.) The rooms have either one king or two queen sized beds, refrigerator, coffee maker and a modem port. With contemporary newly improved rooms and many services within walking distance, this is a easy place for families. The lodge is situated next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, US Post Office and the National Park Service Visitor Center is short (approximately - mile) walk.
