| Pittsburgh Flight Training Center has been training pilots for nearly three decades. As a matter of a fact, PFTC is the oldest flight school in the Pittsburgh area, operating since 1980. Many of our pilots are flying for the airlines, flying corporate jets, instructing other pilots or just flying for the fun and excitement of flying. We have an exclusive contract with the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) and hold all of the ground school classes at the South Campus in West Mifflin, located five minutes from Allegheny County Airport. We have a fleet of 12 aircraft and can train you from your private pilot certificate all the way through your instrument, commercial, multi-engine, and CFI ratings. Pittsburgh Flight Training Center strives to provide the highest level of flight training to those who wish to experience the joy of flight. We look forward to working with all students to help achieve what may be one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives. Whether you decide to enroll in Community College or go directly through our school you will be instructed, one on one, by one of our Certified Flight Instructors at our modern facility located at Allegheny County Airport.
