Commuter aircraft hijacked and forced to land on road. Off field landing carried out perfectly by pilot, no injuries and minimal damage. A/C repaired and returned to service.

On the 20th of February 2002, Colombian rebels kidnapped Mr.Jorge Gechem on a Neiva-Bogota flight. Then Captain, Mrs.Dorian Janeth Ospina, from AIRES airline, was forced to land this craft with no margin of error (look at the landing gears) on this road.
After it was all over she offered herself to fly it off the road, yet I understand some one else did. She is a real hero, saving 25 lives on board.
