Boeing 737-800 (N280EA) - After transporting Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders from Elko, Nevada, to Reno for an afternoon campaign rally, Easterns N280EA climbs away from runway 16R and heads up out of the early evening shade towards the last few minutes of light cast by the setting sun enroute to Las Vegas with Mr. Sanders aboard. Although there are already numerous photos of N280EA in the gallery, this appears to be the first snap of it in the air.

My sincere and most appreciative "Thanks" go out to Capt. Muise and First Officer Frymyer for the wonderful opportunity they provided to me by escorting me on a photo-op tour of N280EA.
Dwight, Greg, and Dave ... Thanks to all of you. ;-)
Dave .. The cloud ABOVE it is a lenticular cloud. It was layered, perfectly circular, and gorgeous in the sunset light; but I had to crop it out in order to keep the focus of the pic on N280EA. Pilots are not particularly fond of lenticulars, but when the sky is filled with them it is a stunning sight.
