Great shot, Peter. I thought they stopped injecting water into the combustion chambers.
Thanks Frank. In fact I was at the wrong side (27) of Geilenkirchen airbase (right side 09). About your remark: May be these engines are too old for that? But I have no knowledge about it.
They are not 'Green' for sure!
TF-33s tend to smoke a bit with the throttles closed for landing...
The aircraft was prepairing for a touch-and-go, but did not touch the runway. May be that is the reason for the smoke?
