Reminds me of the old Pepsi stearman at Reno back in the 1990s

Nice shot, what is the mast above the upper wing?
jim gevay
Roy, it's the observation deck so that someone has a nice view of the airshow.

Jim, you had me in tears! Roy, you see the lady in the cables between the wings? It is a "wing walking" act and during the act she climbs up to the top and straps her self to it while the pilot does his stunts.
Roy Hunte
Wow quite the lady. And I agree with Jim she would have the best view of the airshow.
Dave Sheehy
Agree with ppick-Jim usually chimes in with very much to the point aviation knowledge comments (Thank you for that Jim), when I saw that observation deck comment I had a good laugh :)
Roy Hunte
Y'know Dave, ya need to have guys like Jim around to keep everyone in a good mood. I try but I have difficulty putting wit into typed words...

I've had much respect for jim for many years. He knows many details and is direct to the point.
Roy Hunte
True Sam, and he knows when to use humor wisely.
