While the world knows a lot about , how the B-17 won the war in Europe , little has ever been revealed about the B-29 and how Damn important it was in the Pacific region . I have never clearly understood this lapse , but the B-29 is not just about the 509th Composite Wing . It's about the 1st pressurized cabin , About its' operational ceiling , its' Range with full conventional bomb load . And just to top it off ,.....It is one of the most impressive Bombers of WW-2 . To this end , i built a large scale Model of the B-29 a few years back , and it is impressive . Not due to my skill , but to my ability to learn a lot more than i could from a book or film . The B-29 is the cats Meow , and i think there are a lot of people who feel the same . Best wishes ....DGR

This week at Martin State Airport in Baltimore County, Maryland several World War two bombers are there right now. One of these is a B-29 FiFi It was built in 1945 but never saw action in the war, It was used by the AirForce for other experimentation project until 1954 when it was retired to the Bone Yard in Arizona
This plane is amazing and I was able to get inside of the forward pressurized space. and get into the two spaces that the plane carried its bomb loads. The CAF (confederate Air Force) did a wonderful job of keeping this plane air worthy
