Thanks for these Ian! I was getting around to emailing you..I think in RAF service the Argosy cockpit carried a flight engineer and a navigator. Probably wouldn't need the Nav across Bass Strait.

I remember seeing an Argosy flying over must have been late 70s and at the time I did not know what it was
