Seen here is F-GSTB (#2), Airbus's Beluga (aka/originally "The Super Transporter") getting ready to land home at Toulouse/Blagnac, France (LFBO). This MASSIVE modified Airbus A300-600 aircraft is used to transport large aircraft parts (obviously, lol), as well as other awkwardly shaped cargo that no other heavy cargo transporter can accommodate. The Beluga is best known for, and mostly utilized for, transporting parts to the Airbus factory in Toulouse France for the construction of the equally massive Airbus A-380 double decker commercial airliner. The A-380's huge wings are pre-fabricated elsewhere and then loaded into the Beluga's belly and flown to the Toulouse plant. The Beluga is also used to transport other aircraft parts, mainly fuselage's and such, of other (somewhat smaller) Airbus Commercial Aircraft such as the A319 and A320.
