The infamous Tanker 910 (Cal-Fire Supertanker) McDonnell Douglas DC-10 landing at it's home base in Victorville, California (KVCV), after fighting a large wildfire in Northern California. Tanker 910 is the only active supertanker of its kind in the world. This mammoth craft can hold and dump up to 12,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in an exterior belly-mounted tank. Tkr 910 can make a complete drop in eight seconds flat, laying down a dump pattern on the ground that is 300 feet wide by just under a MILE long!.
