backround, our new "nice" observation deck.
After reopening with a 3 meters high meshwired fence.
Now unusable for taking Pictures!!!

Your newest posts are, once again, five star shots, Uwe. All your pics are always *****. And about the new observation deck .... I know you are feeling frustrated that the meshwire has ruined the deck as a photo-taking spot. Back when I was a teen (which was a very, very, VERY long time ago), every airport had one ... or more ... observation deck(s). At RNO, there even used to be a picnic area right at the 34L end of runway 34L-16R. In fact, the picnic tables are STILL THERE, but no one is ever going to be having a family picnic there again ... it is all fenced off. The times have changed and, sadly, observation decks at many airports are long gone now. So if EDDF has a new one, then at least young children can be on it to hear and see the aircraft. I wish kids here could do that. Thank you for these super photos, Uwe. (Wave)
