1956 Aeronca C-3, made in Cincinnatio, Ohio and hanging in the Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport. The brochure for this aircraft touts how easy it is to fly and that a 12 year-old girl got the hang of it in about 2 hours. It also explained how much easier - and safer - it would be to fly this aircraft to, say, New Orleans than driving the long, non-interstate roads of it's day.
