Photo of original transfer - 'The Throttle Benders Union' was a group of British air racers active after WWII. The transfer went on the side of the aircraft aft of the cockpit and the 'Union' met after air races for a drink before dinner! A relative was a 'Throttle Bender' - the twin flying around the pylon represents Miles Gemini G-AKDC which won the first King's Cup Air Race after WWII in 1949
